Location : Dusun Rambai, Desa Sahan, Kecamatan Seluas, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia.
The next day, at around eight in the morning the guys dressed in their traditional red attires gathered at the baruk for the start of the march to a nearby stream where they would bath naked as part of the purification ritual. That was the reason why no ladies were allowed to come to the stream.
The ritual started with the preparation of the food for the feeding followed by the bathing the skulls. 
Then the skulls were smoked over a small fire next to the stream. It was quite a surprise as we have not seen smoking of skulls done elsewhere in the Bidayuh community. But in the Iban areas it is a common practice. 
After the short ceremony they marched back single file to the group of ladies waiting to receive the basket of washed skulls. 
A puppy was sacrificed before the ladies led the contigent into the bamboo climbing arena where more animal sacrifices followed.
By then the whole placed was filled with visitors coming from all over the place and nearby villages. Next…….Inclined bamboo climbing
