Continued…
We continued our drive to Pancur Aji waterfall and the arch at the junction was too huge not to notice.

The road was really bad especially at the section after a hill which was surprising that the Sanggau authority had neglected this road. I would advise not to drive there using saloon cars. A motorbike or ojek would be much safer. The road leading to the tiny carpark was way too narrow and road shoulders way too high. Disappointing, but once we arrived at the waterfall area after a short walk, we forgot about our disappointment.
The orange coloured selunsor trees that lined the banks of the river took our breath away.
The smoke coming from a group doing BBQ drifted across the river and with the sunlight piercing through the foliage the effects were just heavenly.

We just soaked in the cold flowing water too lazy to explore further upstream. Next…..early morning stroll in Sanggau.
