Location : Dusun Sasak, Desa Santaban, Kecamatan Sajingan Besar, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia.
Along our Trans Kalimantan road (Sambas to Aruk), we were attracted by a Gua Maria signage on the right indicating something worthy of a visit.
Most of the Gua Marias we have visited came with a nice river or sometimes waterfall. They are always crowded during Christmas.
We parked the car and took the 10min stroll through tall vegetation. It was an underground cave turned into an outdoor church just like all the other Gua Marias all over Kalimantan. The place was exceptionally cool and the energy was good.
