Another Gawai another parade. Congratulations to the organising committee of Kampung Taee for putting up another awesome parade.
The crowd was a lot bigger this year with more outsiders, tourists and kids proudly showing off their traditional costumes. This year’s route was slightly changed but the roadside ‘paren’ tradition was just as great.
Taee folks will have to keep innovating to bring this festival to a higher level so more tourism players will notice. Perhaps, the nearby villagers should also be invited to participate to make it even bigger. Thank you and see you next year.
