Location : Kampung Mapu Tantu, Tebedu, Serian, Samarahan, Sarawak, Malaysia.
A very obscure and unknown village deep in the interior of Tebedu also reachable by way of Mongkos. On this second trip to this village we only managed 2 waterfalls, Abang Fall & Bunuk Fall.

Bunuk Fall

Kiyun our guide promised us more on our third trip which will most probably mean camping out in the primary jungle up in the mountain very near to the Indonesian border. What’s interesting about this village is both wet & hill paddy grow side by side and the wet ones are grown on terraced slopes. Something new to us.

Reckon by the third visit we should be able to come with a packaging for locals if not for tourists. Usually it will take a few runs with the locals before the villagers’ mindset will be ready for business. It takes time and effort to nurture the locals. Hopefully another product can come up from this region which is well serviced by very good roads.
