  1. Hello Shannon and Katie here . We booked a 2 day and 1 night Bidayuh homestay experience with mei and sim . Where do we start ? It was honestly the best excursion we have done so far. The hospitality and kindness was very much appreciated. The whole package was brilliant. Very safe and fun we would both recommend it 100% you will have the time of your life 🙂 enjoy xxx

  2. Graham and I had 5 days in Kuching and absolutely loved it as a city. Our main reason for going was to experience a jungle adventure and we certainly got this from our 2 day, 1 night trip to Bidayuh Village Homestay. Right from the start, it was fantastic, with Mr Sim and Mei being so welcoming, informative and friendly. Experiencing how a traditional Malaysian family live in a beautifully remote paradise was incredible- waterfall and jungle walks, trying so many different foods from plants around us, eating delicious home cooked meals and sitting on the handmade bamboo rug overlooking a beautiful back drop of jungle and lake with the family made it an unforgettable experience and a highlight of our 2 week trip to Malaysia. Thank you so much to Mei and Mr Sim!

Other aspects of our trip that we loved:
Staying at the Rannee Hotel in Kuching- it was a bit pricier but an amazing suite in a great location on the waterfront. We also had 2 nights at the Wai Lodge Guest House which is only about 4 doors down from the Rannee hotel but much more affordable, with an air conditioned room and shared bathroom.
We had a great trip to Bako National Park, getting the bus from Kuching and staying in a dorm lodge house for one night- incredible jungle treks and seeing proboscis monkeys and a brilliant guided night walk.
Seeing Orangutans at Semengoggh Nature Resereve was amazing too and we were lucky enough to see ‘Big Richie’ feeding as well as other gorgeous Orangutans including a baby.

We loved Borneo and would thoroughly recommend the Bidayuh trip for an ultimate Jungle Experience! Thank you so much.
    Sophie and Graham x
