Did this short loop just to let KL adventurer TS Ng have a glimpse of what Bengoh Dam has to offer although the scenario will be very different when he comes back the next time if he decides to commercialise this Bengoh package. Most probably rowing will replace much of trekking which is what Ng would like to see, variation of packaging. Tubing has long been suggested to Stanley our guide from Kampung Ayun. New waterfalls and trails have also been identified. Stanley and I are actually quite excited about the dam’s impoundment and keenly looking forward to it so our new ideas can come to fruit. Next year hopefully Bengoh will evolve into a new playground for us, new game with new rules. But something stays the same as always, the friendly Bidayuh communities that chose to stay behind to claim their rights to their legacy, lifestyle and ancestral land.
