Fairy Cave Nature Reserve, Kuching Sarawak

Location : It is located near the former gold mining settlement of Bau and about 40km from Kuching

Open : Monday to Sunday (and public holidays) : 0830-16.30

Entrance fee :

RM1 for adults Malaysian, free for children and disabled person.
RM5 for adults Non-Malaysian, RM3 for disabled person, RM2 for children aged 7-18, Free for children aged 6 and below.

Introduction :

Fairy Cave (also known as Gua Pari) is an impressive limestone show cave. It is a remnants of fortress built by the Japanese army during its occupation of the state in 1941. Japanese Army built this fortress to defend themselves from enemy attacks but later abandoned them after the war.
